New York Philharmonic Data Center Renovation and Electrical Upgrade at 10 Lincoln Center

Edouard Engineering Consulting (EEC) worked closely with SDA Consultant to develop the core
design criteria and assisted the risk analysis team of New York Philharmonic (NYP) in the single
point of failure study to minimize interruption of services. EEC designed the upgrade of the
Electrical and Mechanical systems for the Data Center.
The significant technological design features implemented are:
• Connection to the Building's Standby Generator
• UPS System with Batteries for 60 Minute Duration
• Upgrade to the existing electrical distribution for the NYP space
• Addition of Supplemental cooling for the Data Center in (N+1) configuration
